Roots of Devotion: The History of ISKCON Lakhimpur

ISKCON Lakhimpur is a branch of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) — a global spiritual movement founded by His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Srila Prabhupada, to spread the teachings of Bhagavad Gita As It Is and Srimad Bhagavatam worldwide.

Established on 24th March 2023, with the gracious presence of HG Amogh Lila Prabhu, ISKCON Lakhimpur operates as a preaching centre under the parental guidance of ISKCON Kanpur. The center is lovingly led by HG Sunil Mukunda Prabhu, a dedicated disciple of HH Bhakti Charu Swami Maharaj.

Our main purpose is to share the divine message of Lord Krishna and Srila Prabhupada, guiding people toward a peaceful, God-centered life. The centre regularly organizes Bhagavad Gita classes, Sunday Feast programs, Harinaam Sankirtan, youth and college preaching, prasadam distribution, and joyous celebrations of major festivals like Janmashtami and Gaura Purnima.

Though our presiding deities — Sri Sri Radha Madhav ji and Sri Sri Gaura Nitai — currently appear in the form of sacred cutouts, the atmosphere here is filled with devotion, kirtan, and loving service.

We warmly invite you to be part of this growing family of devotees —
🌸 Chant Hare Krishna and be happy. 🌸

THE COMPASSION

Serving with Love and Dedication

Whether it’s through prasadam distribution, Harinam sankirtan, or educational efforts, ISKCON Lakhimpur strives to serve all with humility and care. Every service offered is an expression of devotion, inspired by the teachings of Srila Prabhupada and guided by the mood of selfless love.

We believe true compassion is shown not only in words, but in action — feeding the hungry, guiding the lost, and embracing every soul with warmth. Our doors are always open to those seeking spiritual shelter and community.

Together, with our devotees and well-wishers, we continue to serve the mission of Lord Krishna by cultivating a space where love, faith, and kindness flourish.

OUR VISION

Transformation Through Devotion

ISKCON Lakhimpur envisions a spiritually awakened society, where individuals live with purpose, guided by timeless wisdom and deep inner connection. Our vision is not limited to rituals, but aims at real change — in hearts, homes, and communities.

We aspire to nurture a culture of bhakti that empowers every soul to grow through sadhana, satsang, and service. Through spiritual education, outreach, and shared experiences, we aim to create lasting impact in both individual lives and the world at large.

Rooted in the teachings of Bhagavad-gita and Srimad-Bhagavatam, our goal is to build a future filled with devotion, compassion, and Krishna consciousness at its core.
